20 And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart;
20Samuele disse al popolo: «Non temete: voi avete fatto tutto questo male, ma almeno non allontanatevi dal Signore, anzi servite lui, il Signore, con tutto il cuore.
Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.

Fate dunque ed osservate tutte le cose che vi diranno, ma non fate secondo le opere loro; perché dicono e non fanno.
For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
Poiché non siete voi che parlate, ma è lo Spirito del Padre vostro che parla in voi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
8 Ma voi non vi fate chiamar "Maestro"; perché uno solo è il vostro maestro, e voi siete tutti fratelli.
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?
Non dite voi che vi sono ancora quattro mesi infino alla mietitura?
are not ye my work in the Lord?

Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
Non vi contaminate con nessuna di tali nefandezze; poiché con tutte queste cose si sono contaminate le nazioni che io sto per scacciare davanti a voi
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
Non abbiate quindi niente in comune con loro
Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
